I need to merge data in a database and have the application print out and look exactly like the current paper version. I have looking into generating a pdf file using XMLPDF, but to layout the entire app in xml might be too time comsuming. We have used an ActiveX product from Data Dynamics called Active Reports which allows the user to print the report from the web. This component also allows you to create PDF's. One of the great features from this company is they have a royalty free plug in for the end user to download. This is great when comparing licensing prices from companies like Crystal Reports.
