I'm trying to integrate a PowerBuilder application with another application and I need to read some data from a PowerBuilder screen. It appears to be a standard dialog/view, but if you try to examine the individual controls, they are part of some custom "panel". Has anyone done anything similar to what I am trying to do and has some advice? Thanks, David

Maybe Spy++ (one of the utilities that come with Visual Studio) can help you get an idea of how those PowerBuilder windows are made up. Joaquín M López Muñoz Telefónica, Investigación y Desarrollo

I've tried Spy++ along with a customized version of something similar. The problem is the "controls" in the PowerBuilder window are not "standard" windows controls. The smallest window in one of the forms is a panel of some sort containing all of the controls. I cannot see a way to access an individual control.

I see... It's a pity that didn't work, I'm sorry I don't have any other idea. Good luck with your quest. Joaquín M López Muñoz Telefónica, Investigación y Desarrollo
