Looking for a cross-platform graphic plot lib

Hi, I'm doing a C++ Win-Unix decoder for printer files. I work directly on bitmap and I need to render graphics like square, polygons,... As it is rather hard coding, I'm looking for a GDI like graphic plotting library to render those graphics on my bitmaps. When I say GDI like, I mean an API with the a GDI spirit (shapes, pens, brush,...) not necessarily an emulation of the GDI. I would be gratefull to anybody telling me where I can find such a library either freeware (prefered) or shareware but with sources. The port is aimed at : Windows, Linux and Unix (AIX, HP, solaris).
