It is 'cause not cause. You have to use an apostrophe when abreviating. In any case, 'cos is far better. 1,436 shitty chineese rockets are obviously not the equal of god knows how much US ordance the IDF has used then. And your point was?

Ohhh...I guess my point was too fine for your point to "fathom". You ever notice that when someone does not have an intellegent and informed response they comment on grammer or spelling mistakes?

I posted a new thread in the VC++/MFC forum with code that doesn't appear to work.

Sorry, you posted after I went to bed. Did the code that PJ posted solve your problem ? If not, I'm here for an hour, I can whip something up for you in that time.

PJ's utility did in fact help. I got it down to where I had to figure out how to free a pointer, when I realized that I *couldn't use the code afterall*. LOL It seems that Chris' grid control allows just one imagelist, and the cells always refresh from the current imagelist when the control is painted. Since the imagelist itself could change from one cell to the next, all of the cells adopted the 1st image of the imagelist. I don't have the time to make each cell use it's own image list, so I had to drop back and punt. So much for good ideas...
