Hi all, I've just bought a new SD card for my pda and when I've tried to insert into the card reader of the notebook it shows a message telling me that I have to format it. That's ok but when I try to format it, the dialog just permits me to format it for a 1 Gb capacity when it's of 2 Gb. I've tried to do it with another card reader and it happens the same ... Thanks in advance, Marc Soleda

It's possible that your PDA only supports 1Gig cards. Check with the manufacturer of your PDA to see if there is an update you can install.

I finally found it. The problem was with the notebook driver that I had to update it to support formats bigger than 1 Gig. Now it works fine. Thanks, Marc Soleda.

Which notebook? I'm looking at buying some 2GB SD cards for use with my laptop and camera, and knowing I would have a problem in advance would be good :-D

Hp Compaq nc6120. Maybe you'll have to update the driver depending on you last system restoration/update. Mine was last done October 2005. Marc Soleda.

TVM. My Dell Inspiron 9400 sees 2GB straight off, so no worries on that score :)
