    I will inform you, that I get some virus mails in last weeks from sender webmaster@codeproject.com. :mad: I KNOW, THAT THE SENDER IS FAKED!!!, but may be there are some security leaks in CP, that a crawler can collect many real existing mail addresses, because the virus mail was sent to my CP-only-specific mail account. :confused: I'm not infected, thanks to AVG :) Cheers Stephan

      It used to be that the forums would expose your email address to a person you were replying to in the email notification that they received when they get a reply on the forum. It may be that this is how your email address got into "the wild".

        Virus makers often spoof the 'from' address as being that of a reputable site (such as CodeProject). If you look at the headers you will see that the email did not originate from CodeProject's servers. SMTP is a weak protocol.
