Awesome site...

I saw the CodeProject ad in MSDN Magazine and I loved the layout and content from the moment it loaded in my browser for the first time. It seems shallow to like a site because of its aesthetics but I'm a UI developer and I know the value of a good front end and how importnat it is for enhancing the users experience. On top of that the content here is good and it'll just get better. In fact I've been wanting to write several articles for sometime now and this site has inspired me to finaly do so. It's led to a few late nights (you're not the only one Chris) because I don't want to put it aside but I'm excited about sharing the first articles I've ever written. I've got some cool stuff in C++ almost ready for submitting but in light of those excellent "Idiot Guides to Shell Extensions" I was thinking of submitting some work I've done for writing shell extensions in Visual Basic. The funny thing is that doing them in VB seems harder than ATL and maybe even pure SDK but it was pretty fun and once you figure out a few things the VB shell extension work quit well. I read earlier in the forum that VB stuff would be posted if VB content was submitted. Anyway keep up the good work, this site looks beautiful and has all the features I could ask for. It has a lot of potential.

Thanks Farzad - I appreciate the comments - and I'm certainly looking forward to the articles. If you have some VB stuff then that would be awesome. I really want to start expanding and bringing the MFC/VB programmers together. cheers, Chris
