You totally missed the point there Stan. Do you not find it slightly disturbing that a political party is putting such material on your televisions to get you to vote for them? How different is this from the propoganda in Germany in the 1930s?

Just as mike said, the commerical is entirely accurate even if sensationalistic. Recent history clearly indicates that addressing terrorism the way the democratic party wants will, in fact, make us vulnerable to terrorists attacks. The republicans have a much more realistic set of solutions for dealing with Islamic terrorism. And there is nothing wrong with making those differences obvious to the voters. Comparing it to Nazi Germany is, ironically, much closer to a fascist like political tactic than the commercial itself is. Here is the real deal as far as am concerned: From Veitnam through the current date liberal and Democrat led policies have made us a nation under fire and a nation that is suceptable to attack. The liberal media, call it the network news and teh New York Times, caused us to tuck our tails and run from Veitnam when we were winning the war. This effort was led by the likes of Walter Cronkite and a host of others who played up the TET Offensive making it look to the population as a huge battle that we had lost. Point in fact we had won but that was not reported, only the battle carnage was. That earned us a reputation as a paper tiger. Skip down history lane and you'll find the weakest US President this nation has ever seen. A cowardly wimp with a loud mouth named Jimmy Carter. Carter permitted a band of radicals to invade soverign US territory (Iran consulate) and hold it for 444 days along with our diplomatic contingent. We should have retaliated immediately but did not, further enhancing our paper tiger image. Skip down history lane and you find President Bush #1 who correctly liberated an invaded Kuwait but bowed to world pressure and left the invading dictator in place. That earned us a reputation as being afraid to go for the kill but did so while insensing radical muslims even more because we had men on supposedly sacred ground. Continue skipping and you find President Clinton who despised the military and intelligience services, weakening one and virtually dismantling the other - preparing the way for 9-11. This 9-11 preparation was enhanced when we turned tail (Blackhawk down), and ignored other attacks(Kobar, Cole, 1st World Trade center Bombing) then refusing to take control of Bin Laden when offered the opportunity. Couple all of that with a western Europe that is capable of little other than talking with a lot of that talk being anti-US venom and a US Democrat party that thinks the European way is a-okay and yes I am afraid of Democrats being elected.

I am absolutely happy with whatever it takes to defeat the set of principles currently referred to as 'liberalism'. I really don't care if we have to pull western civilization down around our ears to kill it, liberalism has to die. The absolute worst thing that can happen to human civilization is to allow this vile monstrosity of a moral/social/political agenda to continue to exist.
