        What do you mean by 'traffic maps'? You have a list of positions, and want to show them as a route? You have GPS positions, so you probably need to find out how to convert them to whatever coordinate system your mapping software uses. In the UK, for example, this could be Lat/Long or OSGB. MapPoint could probably do a lot of what you want. Hardest point, IME, is sourcing the map data, as this usually isn't free (to acquire or to use). There are companies who specialise in providing map servers which could do that part.
