"crack" is also another word for "the crater where the winds of the devil blows" or "the brown dot". Jan "It could have been worse, it could have been ME!"

I laughed my ass off. Then I took a shower. For the whole 10 minutes I was in there, I was still snickering. During class, an occasional giggle would surface from somewhere within. And now that I am at work, the image of your fat ex-wife rolling around in flour keeps popping into my head. Oh man, you made my day. That is one of the funniest things I have read in a long time. :) Jon Sagara There is no spoon. Best Miniputt score: 21

Like I said to the other guy, this is a religious issue to Americans, and hardly one likely to be discussed rationally. It's also an issue I cannot take with cold logic, I have children and I feel strongly about their NOT living in a country where school shootings are common ( as opposed to never occuring once in Australia ). I'm sorry I brought up a religious difference between us. Let's leave it at that. Christian The tragedy of cyberspace - that so much can travel so far, and yet mean so little. Okay I'll bite, this is the R and R forum, James T. Johnson wrote: Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens wouldn't stop gun related crimes Why do law-abiding citizens need guns? Michael :-)
Protection, hunting, and recreation (whew, almost typed pleasure there, nearly forgot this was R&R X|) Here protection is used to protect ones self and family, and to protect your property from various wild life that decide to chew up your entire garden  If people practiced gun safety (never point a gun at something you don't intend to kill, keep it locked up & unloaded) and get it out of their kids heads that gun == toy then the world (ok at least America) would be a much better place. If you don't have a need to own a gun then don't own one, I don't own a gun, I have no need to; but I'm not about to tell my grandma she can't own a gun because some idiots didn't know to keep their gun locked up. Actually I believe if you are going to have guns in your society, schools should teach gun safety to "all" students from a young age. And let them pop of a few rounds to see the damage they can inflict. I know it should be a parents responsibility but some parents are darn lax. Regardz Colin J Davies

****Colin Davies wrote: schools should teach gun safety to "all" students from a young age I'm all for it! :) We had a little form of gun safety back in 6th grade, but that was with bb guns (though the same rules apply :)) ****Colin Davies wrote: And let them pop of a few rounds to see the damage they can inflict. Sounds good, but they'd have to rig it up so that nothing could get in the way, maybe in an enclosed area with the gun mounted stationary so it can't be aimed elsewhere; otherwise you have 'accidents' :( Maybe even have a member from the state police there holding the weapon as well.
