It's the same as it has always been...people are screwed up. Now we just have video coverage.

That is so true. In fact, maybe now that everything you do can wind up on YouTube (until it collapses under its own weight due to copyright issues or lack of profit), people will act more civil in "private" just in case... people won't change, of course, but maybe our behavior can.

maybe...if they know a camera is around. I work in an area that has surveillance cameras. You tend to forget they are there after a while. You remember they are there about the time you have your finger up your nose digging for gold.

Why be depressed? Modern technology is helping the world to change for the better in some small way. That makes me feel a little better about the world I live in.

In high school there was special classes for the mentally disabled kids. In the morning one of the special classrooms was used as a store that sold school supplies and snacks. I would go there and get some gum and snacks for the day. Sometimes the kids in there would "act up" and when they couldn't be settled down the teachers went with more extreme measures to calm them down. One time one of the kids was really getting crazy so they had to pin him to the wall and they were trying to get him into a small room. They were really forceful with the kid, he looked like he was being arrested.

Amen - my mother was on the phone talking about kids breaking the law to get on YouTube, I said, the only difference is, now they can video the stuff they always did.

I'm glad there is no record of some of the stuff I did.
