Hi, I want to participate to the Vista gadgets competition. It's too late for the bonus prizes but I don't care :) My question is about ranking : The winners are those with the highest score? If yes, I think its unfair because everybody can create multiple accounts and give to his article 5/5! Is there any judges that take care of testing the gadgets? Thank you very much.

I would hope that for something as serious as a comp, the admins would double-check the votes for the articles before announcing the prize winners.

I would like it if the actual votes would not matter that much, rather the opinion of the codeproject judges. I is quite hard to identify false votes and it would be safer to use judges.

Isn't it possible that the judges are a number of people who have special accounts with high impact on the rating and have been voting for the articles during the last day? The ratings have changed a lot and it was actually in my favor so I don't think it was just somebody promoting his own work :) (Unless it was me voting in my sleep again ;P) It would also explain the "by user ratings and our judges" in the rules...

Judges should have the last word.
