Visual C++ Section Overbloated

Why don't we chop this sucker up? You know, like have Gdi, Gui, Threads, etcetera etcetera sections... "Visual C++" is too broad and this can be seen in how many messages go in there. The problem is, if you post a message, and it doesn't get answered in a few seconds, it gets drowned out by all the other ones and then never gets answered... :wtf: Ok well a bit of an exaggeration, but still ;) swine Check out Aephid Photokeeper, the powerful digital photo album solution at www.aephid.com.

I don't agree. Too many message forums will lead to many cross forum postings. It is very rare that a question posted goes beyond the first couple of pages on the day it is posted. If the question isn't answered in a day then it is likely that nobody here has an answer. Michael :-) Communication is the first step towards enlightenment.

As Chris and I can attest, this is a nice problem to have :) Cheers, Tom Archer Author, Inside C# A total abstainer is one who abstains from everything but abstention, and especially from inactivity in the affairs of others.

You're correct. A better solution would be to modify the forum software to contain predefined categories within forums that the reader could then select via a combobox.
