Hi, The "Paint" application that is bundled with Windows distributions is not open-source, so nobody will give you the sources. Anyway, you can take a look at the Paint.NET: http://www.getpaint.net/download.html It is open-source, whole project is monitored by Microsoft, so it'll give you the idea on how graphics editor works.
