remote source control

First of all, I am sorry if I missed the right forum. Anyway, my colleague and I want to develop some application and we want to use some source control software. The problem is that my colleague doesn't have an Internet connection at home (in 21th century!!! Long story though), so he have to go in some other places to have an Internet access. I was wandering can you tell me if there is any software that can help us control our source code, should I say remotely? To upload project source on server so that my colleague and I can access project files and check in any files we done - same as we would do if this was in LAN. Do you recommended any other approach for this kind of source control? Thanks.

I tried Google as well. I need free source control for .NET, web or windows based. When I said remote I was referring something like CodePlex or SourceFourge. I will take a look at this link you provided. Thanks for reply.
