hi.. i am trying to add a drop down list value to the database.. the error comes is.. incorrect syntax near 'itemname'.. cmd2.CommandText = "Insert into Bill(BillNo,PatID,Test,TstCateg) Values('"+maxlbl.Text+"','" + patid.Text + "','" +DropDownList2.SelectedItem.Value+ "','"+DropDownList1.SelectedItem.Value+"' "; and just for the record.. it had worked previously.. in another app...
