I would like to turn off the shortcuts associated with the Quick Launch toolbar that are established by the Vista. I haven't found anyone that knows how to do this nor have I found a utility or registry setting to do it. So, I figure I'll have to do it myself. Does anyone have any pointers on where to start looking?

What do you mean by "turn off" the shortcuts? You can delete them, or just hide the toolbar altogether.

Maybe disable them would be a better way to put it. I use the Win + n (number 0-9) shortcuts for switching desktops in my VDM software (AltDesk) and want to continue doing so in Vista.
