Is it possible, within a stored procedure, to get server IP? Michel It is a lovely language, but it takes a very long time to say anything in it, because we do not say anything in it, unless it is worth taking a very long time to say, and to listen to.

Its ugly (I'd go so far as to say "pug fugly"), and you'd have to parse the results...
use master go exec xp_cmdshell 'ipconfig'Andy Gaskell, MCSD MCDBA.. or you could write an extended stored procedure ??
