    Dear all, If you have some free time to leave th keyboard and do some math be my guest ;P I donno if it's thr right forum, if not please tell me... The riddle is: Given the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 And the operators +, -, *, / Using each number only once and each operator only once the equation result should be 28 I'm workin on hoping i get the solution first

      Got the solution ;) it's: (5+3)*(4-(1/2)) = 28 Thanx 4 cooperation :laugh:

        Here's an integer only version: (5+4-2)*(1+3) :) --modified a few minutes after posting I just realized I used 2 + and no /. No wonder it was all integer. Silly me :sigh:

          Still a good shot :-D I was told that there is another solution without the brackets! I'm still trying
