why do european movies contain nudity-seriously

I wasn't aware that a europe/american device on film nudity had occured. I think it is too common across the board and in many cases is just put in to get those adolescent boys to come watch it X| It should only be included in films wher the plot requires it. I think a law should be passed that requires all men to remain clothed. Women can still undress. In fact, women would have to undress fully and expose themselves at least 3 times during the movie. What is wrong with nudity? It's about as natural as you can get. Having said that, do these movies you've been watching contain "pron" or "hot oral action" in the titles? :suss: Europeans are much more relaxed when it comes to nudity. Also, despite what Roger has said, adolescent boys generally don't watch movies like that just for the nude scene (at least none of the adolescent boys I know). I guess some people will see a nude girl on TV and look straight at the tits, others are able to view it as part of the story... Now if you want something that is really disgusting, just take a look at Countrywatch on Thursday evenings. Talk about obscenities! I think this really reflects current cultural values. I once remember a European youth hostel that had unisex shower facilities and the Americuns wouldn't enter for some strange reason, :-) Regardz Colin J Davies

I had trouble in the youth hostel in Germany. It was women's only, but there were no shower curians. Yikes! Cathy Life's uncertain, have dessert first!

My German grandparents LIVED in a nudist colony, in fact, he died there ( and yes, it *was* a heart attack ). I think it's a cultural thing, their equivelent of the US People magazine ( which us named Who in Australia, because People is actually a softcore porno here ), has nudes in it. I also think in the movie industry it makes them feel arty to have nudes. Anyhow, I seem to remember that every cop movie in the 70's coming out of the US involved a rooftop chase where the criminal fell through a skylight into the middle of a prono being filmed....
