It violated the fundamental theorem of numerology: ``All numbers can be related to 666 in some non-trivial way.'' Exactly. For example 1024. 1024 is BIGGER than 666. Man, what an idiot. I especially liked that 999 is 666 upside down. I guess 10 is a magic number by this system as 10 in Roman Numerals ( if I recall correctly ) is X, so 10 upside down is 10. As a Christian I watch is amusement and horror at people who misread Revelation to think some mythical beast is coming to cut peoples heads off, and play the 666 game. Ronald Reagan also had 6 letters in his middle name, which made him the antiChrist in the 80's. It's just too sad..... Which reminds me of a story from the Billy Connolly book written by his wife. Aparently Billy showed up in colourful dress at an eveny Ronny was present at, and his arrival woke him. He took one look at Billy and asked his minders 'Am I dreaming, or is it my medication' ? This man is the antiChrist ?   Christian The tragedy of cyberspace - that so much can travel so far, and yet mean so little. And you don't spend much time with the opposite sex working day and night, unless the pizza delivery person happens to be young, cute, single and female. I can assure you, I've consumed more than a programmer's allotment of pizza, and these conditions have never aligned. - Christopher Duncan - 18/04/2002

In Al Gore's case, it's the ascii code that adds upto 666, not the positional values of letters in Hebrew, Greek or some natural language, which would have made more sense. Playing with the number is one thing but equating it with someone like Al Gore is really stupid especilly when the 'wooden face' is a determinant. The title of this post should have been 'How can some people say such stupid things?' since the person seems to be brilliant otherwise. :)

If Al Gore isn't the Anti Christ he is pretty close to it, possibly his job is to make the path for the Anti Christ. Scriptures tell us that the Anti Christ will decieve most of us so we must be very cautious. Gore's book Earth in the Balance gives a dangerous insight into his mind, and shows how he feels about Global issues. The Democrats seem to be plagued now by atheistic socialists who wish to undermine core morals and values. Regardz Colin J Davies

Al Gore is a much nobler human being than the charming, grinning, hypocratic, self-righoueous, self-serving, pick-pocketing-the-poor, deceptive and inhuman conservative scoundrels.:(
