    i am trying to put several links into the same cell generating something like this headlink1 sublink1 sublink2 any ideas ?

      How are you populating the gridview? If you create your own business object/logic you can bind your gridview fields to this object. If you do this, you can then build each of the inner objects how you want. e.g. concatenate multiple links into one string object then your grid will display the data as such. So, if you had either a table with multiple link fields or using joins in your sql statement/procedure you could populate the given object by using multiple fields. objlinks = "Heading

          I stumbled upon it yesterday although I didn't need it, it was in the back of my head. Looked it up again for you: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa479353.aspx You'll have to combine several pieces of the page, but I think it's all there ;)
