Even if - some random party forcing public businesses to prohibit their customers to go to a certain web site? :wtf: Interesting that there's no real talk in this thread, only voting down.

the English text of the article doesn't really provide enough information to allow discussion. All I got out of it was that Group X is trying to keep people from using orkut, but not who X is or what they have against it.

-- You have to explain to them [VB coders] what you mean by "typed". their first response is likely to be something like, "Of course my code is typed. Do you think i magically project it onto the screen with the power of my mind?" --- John Simmons / outlaw programmer

Shiv Sena is a radical Hindu organization who claim to protect Hinduism from cultural and religious invasion from other minority religions like Christianity and Islam. Some of their activities have been border-line terrorism (and this is evident from the article). Their issue is that someone started an Orkut community that bashes their leader Bal Thackerey. The majority of the Shiv Sena members are uneducated and ill-informed and have no idea about the internet and about how public forums and websites operate. So they think that the anti-Thackerey community is an official Google website :-) Sadly the cops are mostly helpless.
