I just bought a new Dell computer that has Windows Vist Home Premium on it. I figured out how to open a command window, but don't seem to be able to get access to any directories that I set up for project files. I can see the directories when I do a "Dir" command, but when I try to change to that directory I get a "Invalid Directory" message!!! Can any one help, please?

Or maybe the user rigths? In vista you often get the problem, that you have to do something by "run as admin". Cheers

Without trying to advertise my own article too much you could download OpenFolder and then just right click on your folders explorer and select either the "Open Command Propmpt Here..." or "Open Elevated Command Prompt Here..." menu items. regards,

You can turn of UAC by going to "Control Panel | User Account | Turn User Account Control On or Off." For more information on UAC please look here[^]. Regards, Paresh.
