Alternative of CONVERT function in MS Access

Hi All, Any can help me out by telling what is the alternative of " Convert(Varchar(10), Date, 101) As MY_DATE " this in MS Access. this function is actually used in query to get short date. How can i get this type of short date in MS ACCESS

If you open up a blank query and go to the functions under date/time there is a formatdatetime function. I believe 2 is the option for the short date.
