Yeah 160 KPH in a prius is tough, but- III had the "Sport" model - comes with 300HP faux-hybrid Engine. It's the pious for people who just want to look like they care about the environment.

It gets worse. One of the bands appearing are Razorlight, and to make the gig the band are flying in on a private jet to RAF Northolt, then being driven by limo to the gig, then they'll be driven back by limo where they'll get back on the private jet and fly up to Glasgow to play 'T in the Park'. Wankers.

I'm not surprised of the behavior you describe - Whatever the subject is, I see these 'support concerts' as giant marketing operations made to help the bands first.

Repost[^]. And why would it be? Is something like this surprising enough to warrant even one link?

Exactly. Live8 was no different - just a good excuse to mime your latest single to a massive captive audience and then sit back and watch your record sales go through the roof.

Why is the type of car he is driving be a part of this story? Is it to show that even though he is a druggie, he is conscientious of the environment, so let's maybe cut him some slack? I could give a shit if he's driving a hybrid Prius!! He's still a danger on the roads if he's toking up! How about the foul pungent odor he is emitting when he tokes up? The left-wing media sure tries to make things look a a lot prettier for some folks, eh?

OK, the private jet may be too much. Perhaps they could have gone on a commercial flight and avoided the extra pollution from the private jet. However, one limo is probably not that much more wasteful than two or three cars.

They could ride bikes! Strap guitar, drums, whatever, to their backs. No problem...;P And if we got really lucky, someone would run them down and we'd be rid of their 'music'...
