protection with CD Key

Hello friends i want to give my developed project to client but i want to give the CD keys option into it so that others can't use my software how could ido that. plz reply

Generating CD keys is a generally tightly kept secret. I would probably go with some kind of strong hash function/registry key/etc. No real quick simple answer for you. You may want to look into GUIDs as well. More things you plug into your hash/CD key, possibly more difficult it is for someone to try and crack it.
