Gun Control -(mini rant)

I thought Chris Rock's solution was rather elegant...and hilarious :) His solution was to make each bullet cost $5000.00 (or another ridculous amount). If someone had 10 bullets in him, you know someone was *extremely* pissed off to begin with. Of course his solution revolves around legal purchases ;P James Simplicity Rules!

To me the big problem with the USA's Gun Control is that "anyone" can get a gun, illegally it seems. Trafficking in illegal guns should be severly punished, as these are the folk that cause all the real problems. Regardz Colin J Davies

Ithaca, MI is quite nice :) To carry a concealed weapon you only need to apply for one and pass the state background check. And I don't know of much crime around here; the local newspaper is usually filled with "minor in possesion of alcohol/tobacco" ;P James Simplicity Rules!

Is it just me or does it seem that the answer the US have to gun related crimes is to give everyone guns? Over here I dont know anyone or ever heard of anyone with a personal handgun. This way I feel safer.

I'm in favor! It works here... and most of us aren't armed. The mere fact that any given victim might be is enough to deter a significant amount of crime. I know I'd think real hard about robbing someone on the street if I thought she might be packing! "What is it?" and he said, "I don't know. Let's kill it." - Ed Gadziemski
