How many of you chk CP *first* thing when you wake up! *first* means absolute first. Even before you brush your teeth, even before you go to the bathroom, before washing your face, before even wiping your eyes. I do! I just stumble out of bed [my comp and bed are 2 feet apart] and sit on the chair and switch on my box [I now shut down each night after that voltage fluc ruined my RAM]. Wait for XP to boot up, then open IE and click on my custom CP link :-) Nish p.s. Now you can tell how you open CP every day!!!

That sounds a bit extreme... Of course, my PC is further away from by bed than my bathroom... ;) Now, ideally i'd have the coffee machine right by my bed, on a timer so that the smell would wake me up in the morning. I'd poor myself a cup, and then take a quick shower, drink the coffee while checking email/CP, and then brush my teeth while driving to work. Actually, it'd be great to have breakfast sqeazed in there somewhere too, but no sense in being absurd  ---Shog9---_**

Extreme ways are back again, extreme places i didn't know I broke everything new again, everything that i'd owned

Confession. I like to do either some work or study early in the morning before the household starts getting noisy, so I turn on or wake-up my PC in my bed clothes, naturally I visit CP soon afterwards, especially as most of my non-spam mail is CP responses. Regardz Colin J Davies

:-D Yep, thats me alright. Then again, I brush after I eat and shower; no sense brushing, then eating, just to need to brush again :) James Simplicity Rules!

Luckily I have to pass the coffee pot and the fridge to get to the PC, so I'm reasonably equipped to spend some quality time by the time my eyes are open. My PC is always on, always connected, and usually has one window pointed to CP. Sonork is always running, along with the chat bot. After skimming CP for interesting topics, I check the email, the bulk of which is from CP, Tech Republic, or the firewalls on my previous employer's network - I really should change the notify addresses on those:-D "What is it?" and he said, "I don't know. I would if I had a net connection at home. It's getting frustrating now... I have to go to college or work toget a net connection. I normally get up and shower first... :-D

On a weekend I might get out of bed and go into the computer room to check my mail before doing anything else. If there are some CP replies in my inbox then I might respond otherwise I leave it until I've gone through the morning ritual. On weekdays, I barely have enough time to get ready before having to leave for work. :-( Michael :-)
