So who actually reads fat boy's post here anymore? It's like spring when the farmers spread muck on their crops, or the Soapbox during a US election -- you can't breathe without getting a mouthfull of shit. Please bring back Cricket. O Satipis, where art thou?

Never mind the Philistines who voted you down, Dave. But I just checked the score and found we piled on 329. At this moment, I think you'd rather talk about global warming than cricket, no? ;P

    Cheers, Vıkram.

I actually enjoy his posts. Anyone who can question the science, or lack thereof, is OK in my book. I tend to ignore science that is presented by politicians and data that is masaged by liberal figure heads before it is released. The whole Global Warming(from human activity) is going to ruin the world is perhaps the biggest scam I've ever seen.

Don't get me wrong here, it is not the topic I object to. People talk about all sorts of interesting and varied things in this particular forum, and that's great. It is the five separate threads almost every day which could quite easily be condensed into one main thread where people could actually contribute without it being made meaningless before they've finished typing it. Sometimes the threads will appear within just minutes on one another, making it quite clear he is only interested in Satips' style post and run comments and the occasional insult than any sort of real debate. How you can enjoy a post that consists of nothing you don't find verbatim on the homepage of any semi-political news feed I don't understand.

I find the topic very interesting. Coming from other forums that were nearly 100% for global warming and if we don't do anything the world will destruct tomorrow attitude, I find fat_boy's posts rather refreshing. Every forum has a large signal to noise ratio. It's up to all of us to determine the amplitude of that signal.

I do, at least as much as i read anyone's posts in this forum. I will admit to finding it a bit too tedious wading through the replies, though.

How you can enjoy a post that consists of nothing you don't find verbatim on the homepage of any semi-political news feed

That isnt true is it, my posts are original thought. There has been no presentatio anywhere else of the two obvious contradictions of the IPCC I posted about, nor of the fact that the recently corrected US data makes up for a big percentage of the quality data for the whole century.

Truth is the subjection of reality to an individuals perception

So who actually reads fat boy's post here anymore? It's like spring when the farmers spread muck on their crops, or the Soapbox during a US election -- you can't breathe without getting a mouthfull of shit. Please bring back Cricket. O Satipis, where art thou?

If I was an idiot, there would be an excuse. That I am not, shows there isnt. Look pal, if you had to switch from a UK keyboad at home, to a Belgium keyboard at work your typing would be blown to shit too!
