Turning to the dark side (Possible spoilers for Star Wars Episode II)

The Emperor didn't need to have Anakin's mother tortured and murdered to turn Anakin to the dark side. He should have sent him to come and work around here.... The development manager at the company I'm working for has had an office shift around and I'm now sat out in the open plan office, with people walking past all day and non work conversations going on all around me... and it is starting to piss me off. I just can't get into the zone and being a contractor here there is very little I can do about it. I'd like to get a lightsaber and start slashing.... Darth Michael, I can relate to this all too well. This happened to me at my last gig. My cube was right across from the break room. People were in and out all day. They would hold 30 minute conversations about non work related issues. Needless to say, it was very distracting. Also, right next to the break room was a conference room. One week, when they had a training class, I had to shut the door at least once each day. :mad: You think the instructor would eventually get the hint. I expected way too much. Hang in there. For now, keep the lightsaber in its holster. Rich
