I went to a dance club that I saw downtown, and I went inside. The club had a mix of about 60 percent men and 40 percent women(the majority were very hot). I sat down at the bar to view the people dancing so I could learn some moves. Low and behold, someone buys me a drink! Well it turns out that this is a gay bar...Who would have thought so many women would go there to dance? Now I understand what it is like to be a woman, and have men buy you drinks. Even though I'm not gay, I was flattered nontheless.:-O Man, how do you tell if bars are for straigt people or gay people? This club looked like it was a straight establishment.

LOL! There are clues you'll learn in time, Martin. On the bright side, if a man there puts his hand on your ass, your wallet is probably perfectly safe:-D I Drowned Schroedinger's Stupid Cat!

Whatever are you saying? Martin Marvinski wrote: Man, how do you tell if bars are for straigt people or gay people? Well if it doesn't have a flashing neon male or female symbol above the door, and the bouncers aren't obviously eyeing you up for a good night out after their shift, the easiest thing to do is to look at the people. If the joint is filled with good looking guys in smart labelled clothing, they are likely to be gay. Likewise for lesbians. *sigh* Sometimes I think the guy upstairs got it the wrong way round! In Exeter on a Tuesday quite a few clubs have a gay/lesbian night. I went once with some mates - even though we knew it was gay night - looking for a laugh, and had a terriffic time! Gay blokes are a hell of a lot more fun than straight guys; they don't mind talking. I have a great respect for any guy willing to show a feminine side now. And you are right, having another guy buy you a drink is flattering. Just make one thing clear fromn the start - and that is that you are not looking for a *good* night out (wink wink, nudge nudge). Unless of course your newfound Christianity has tought you to be openminded... I "hear" most joints will do a quick vacuum job in the mens for a fiver! :suss: ____________________ David Wulff "You don't go to the kitchen to take a piss - if you do, don't expect to be served." - peterchen on Bill SerGio.   Even if it was a made up story it is not bad. Look in the ineternet before going to a bar. Since I live in Atlanta I refer to Atlanta Citysearch. Sounds like a good place to meet women. You won't have any competition either as the rest of the guys would be interested in each other rather than in the women :-) Nish

Martin, I knew a guy in Australia who claimed to be Gay, but I believe he never had a male partner. But he always had one girl after another, and use to claim that he only went out with girls to make them happy. Regardz Colin J Davies
