Is a it supposed to be in R or C (didn't calc it yet but that's what it reduces to pretty much)? Btw, why on earth would any teacher make you calculate that much, I mean if you can do (a + b)^2 why torture you with (a + b)^4?

Jeez you, I didn't have you down for a habitual drug taker, well if you want I need to prove you got what it takes, down a few LSD tabs with a sprinkling of MDMA and tell me about it.

I'm not a habitual drug taker, except for alcohol, but I do enjoy the varied experiences. Ah, the candy-flip, one of my old favourites, but I haven't done it since September, and before than about three years ago. I normally confine my 'activities' to LSD about once a year, DXM two or three times a year, and a spliff every now and again on the weekends.

2-2*i*sqrt(2) if a is in C, can't seem to get it right if a would be in R-C (indefinite? getting smth like a-6=0 && 2+a=0 at the same time :P), but it's been like 12 years since I last did this so high chance it's wrong But ouch pen&paper's hard after years of: Win, R, calc :)) But Ok, I was wrong, it's a system of 2 1st degree equations with 2 unknowns :P

Olney's lesions are not really a symptom of DXM use. It hasn't been proven. You will get Olney's lesions from PCP though.

Meh, I was so sure it's wrong, I messed up on the sign on the complex part of z^4 calculation (-4*i*sqrt(2)) so instead of your ending (a-6) + (a-6)*i*sqrt(2) I got (a-6) + (a+2)*i*sqrt(2). Seems like I still kept my old crappy attention span bug :D
