I used to be concerned about climate change, mildly, but still concerned, but now that the Bliar is on-board it must be a total load of codswallop. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2008/mar/14/tonyblair.climatechange?gusrc=rss&feed=networkfront[^] Tony Blair is to lead a new international team to tackle the intractable problem of securing a global deal on climate change which would have the backing of China and America.

If it keeps him too busy to be president of Europe then perhaps there's a silver lining there somewhere. On the other hand that might mean we get Xavier Solana, a traitor to so many people he can't remember which country he's even supposed to be selling out any more. Personally I'd rather send them both to China wearing 'please put me in your Gulag' T shirts and hope we never hear from them again. Are there any free cells in Gitmo now we've got our citizens and residents back I wonder...

Nothing is exactly what it seems but everything with seems can be unpicked.

            Tony B. Liar said:

the world had less than two years to secure a deal, or accept that global warming is irreversible.

With him on the job, I'd say we can scrap the Two Year Plan and just announce it now :)

I think we should get back to old school causes such as reducing pollution, for NO reason whatsoever, just stop polluting. Sustainability from this finite resource etc. All these are cyclic, you watch, hippies will be back in fashion one day, then I'll cool, old and cool

As the National Organisation of Women (now)[^] gives ugly women a place in main stream society so does global warming give deposed politicians and has been socialists... Blair Al-Gore Carter Gorbachov... I am sure I am missing some.
