I'm not sure if this is by design or a bug, but I posted an article - http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/microsoftreporting.aspx[^] and my zip file that I uploaded causes a default server error (it does not display the friendly CP error) Also, and I assume this is a bug, if I try to delete a file, I get a page not found (friendly) error. Is the download not available because it is a new article? Thanks

When I click it, IE opens a new window to http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/microsoftreporting/MSReportingTest.zip[^] and shows the error page. It could be the office filter. Every page has a javascript error on it and your ads are blank. I tried another project and it wouldn't download there either. It must be the filter, which is weird because it used to let me download. If it's working for you, that's good enough for me. Thanks Chris.

Could you please do 2 favours for me: 1. Do a 'View Source' of an article for me and email me what you see to chris at codeproject dot com. 2. Disable javascript in your browser and then try downloading

          cheers, Chris Maunder

I sent you the source. I turned off javascript and the JS error went away, but I still cannot download. I no longer suspect it is the websense filter, because usually I get a websense page telling me I cannot do what I was trying to do if it is blocked. In this case I am not seeing a websense filter. Here what the JS error looks like: Line: 2 Char: 7 Error: Invalid Character Code: 0 URL: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Ann/ServeThirdParty.aspx?p=150x80&attrs=&r=6472344

The ad system and downloading are separate so an error in one should not affect the other. Also, downloading doesn't use javascript at all Are you using a download manager or web accelerator?

              cheers, Chris Maunder

The office uses Websense as a filter, but I am not using any other applications to download the project. When I left click the download link, it sends me to the zip and shows the standard "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."
