Fade-In / -Out animation
-
Hi! I'd like to have a fade-in / -out animation. When the user clicks on a button, a control should be hidden, and if he clicks again, it should be shown again. The fading is no problem, but how do I reverse the animation for the next click? If I set AutoReverse=True, it is faded in right after fading out.

We found the best way was to define the two animations in XAML, but to play them in the code, it was far easier to control that way
Christian Graus Please read this if you don't understand the answer I've given you "also I don't think "TranslateOneToTwoBillion OneHundredAndFortySevenMillion FourHundredAndEightyThreeThousand SixHundredAndFortySeven()" is a very good choice for a function name" - SpacixOne ( offering help to someone who really needed it ) ( spaces added for the benefit of people running at < 1280x1024 )

OK, thx. I did it this way:
From="{Binding Source=HelloWorld, Path=Opacity}" To="0.0" Duration="0:0:0.5" />
and in code:this.Animation.To = this.TextBlock.Opacity == 1 ? 0 : 1;
