If you're browsing through the Q/A forums and read an answer that's correct for the question, should you vote "helpful answer"? I usually do, but then I started thinking that maybe the person asking the question didn't think it was helpful to them. No big deal. I just didn't want people that are trying to help to think the OP thought it was helpful when it was just someone else entirely. Maybe a different "flag" if the OP votes it useful to them? Many (most) don't bother, but it would be nice if the person answering knew that their response(s) did help. Maybe a gold star or thank you icon next to the answer?
