Sometimes it's hard to put a post in context.

    When you reply to a post that has lots of other posts between it and your reply it’s hard to put it in context. The parent post may not even be on the same page and all you’ve got to go by to match it to its parent is the level of indentation. This has been a thorn in my side for some time. I can think of two obvious ways around this (although others may have better ideas):

    1. A button which takes you to a post’s parent.
    2. A button which picks out a “thread” based on a post. A "thread" in this context consists of the post on which you click the button, its parent, its parent’s parent, and so on back to the root post.

    I’d prefer the second option.
