        I have deep respect for a country that cuts of the head of their king[^].

        We are a big screwed up dysfunctional psychotic happy family - some more screwed up, others more happy, but everybody's psychotic joint venture definition of CP

                          I think you're right, but I wasn't sure whether it was Wilhelm or Willem and Wikipedia gave it as William.

                            It could be the case of anglification. Johannes/Johan is often morphed into John, Karl/Carl into Charles, etc. Wilhelm -> William sounds plausible.
