    Hi I am a begener in Linux, I have downloaded the suse cd's and unzipped them on my external hard drive, can't find the installer can you help or explain thank you John John Leduc

      Typically how I have alwasy done it... You burn the ISO image onto a CD or DVD as a data CD I believe. At which point you insert the disk reboot you computer and make sure to boot from CD. The ISO will load and the installation process begins. There is no install button. ;P

        You need to burn the ISO images you downloaded to disks. http://en.opensuse.org/Download_Help#Burn_the_ISO_Image.28s.29[^] The installer is started when you boot from the burned disk.
