As I can see, lot of "Obama won" all arround... but I just want to know: is this true? I mean, were all the votes counted? Are this the official results? Or is just to keep us bussy with "news"... Oh, I see, voted down so rude... this mean that nothing is official, right? Because, otherway probably somebody had a link to some official results...

Right... but still I want to understand how the voting system work in USA, and where are the official results. In my country for example, is it an "Central Electoral Bureau" which is the only source for official results. Nothing else can be taken into consideration, but the results counted there.

All the results published by the news organizations originate with the election commissions in each State. These commissions publish the results as the count progresses (as each voting district completes its count and reports them in). The final results must be certified by the each states secretary of state, but it is unlikely that the outcome would change unless the vote was very close, and some late ballots tipped the scale. In the presidential race, these results empower electors who must still meet and vote (the electoral college vote). In most States, the electors are bound to vote for the popular vote winner (in a winner take all manner). This election, fortunately, is not close enough for the results to be challenged, so you can rest assured that Obama has been elected as the next President. This[^] has a more complete explanation of the details.

Oh, thanks! Is now clear even for me! Even more, you enlighted to me the way the electors work. I tought that this electors are just some "abstraction" to change the weight of different states influence into the voting. I never tought that they are real persons and did really vote! :)

The way they're allocated does change the relative weights of the states in favor of small ones since they're allocated one per senator and congressman, and all states get 2 senators regardless of size. It's one of the many compromises that went into the US Constitution, during the convention the small states were fighting to keep it 1 state one vote like in the Articles of Confederation that were for a few years prior the framework of the US govt.

You're right - it's all fake news. In reality Bush got re-elected for another 4 years. You should put the tin-foil beanie back on now.

Who will ever know whether he *actually* won? What I mean is: who will ever know whether all the votes counted were *legal* votes. Certainly, the Democrats will never investigate or come clean on that ... any more than they came clean on whether Obama is legally qualified to be US president.

They DID come clean. You're just an idiot, that's all.

One of the joys of this election after the last two is that the landslide Obama engendered in state after state after sate means that only the most feebleminded Neaderthals will talk about voter fraud.
