In Vista OS ,Protected Mode Internet Explorer writing in the AppData Folder.

Hi All, Please have a look at the following Issue. I am having a ToolBar Application which runs in the address space of the internet explorer. We are having Various Xml File Operations for the ToolBar(create,read,write).Image Download to the specified folder. Following are some Points. 1) While Running In Vista(Standard User UAC On), if the IE's Protected mode if Off everything works fine.(In this case OS Does Virtualisation). 2)But When we made the IE's Proteced mode on , then nothing happens as no file operations can be done. i) One Solution is like use IE's Writable Folder path , e.g. FOLDERID_InternetCache but i think this is not the proper solution as the we required to have canged xml file to be persisted. Using Temporary Files Folder ,files can be deleted by the user at any time and the Toolbar Application will loose data. So please do provide the Standard way of doing the file operatons while the internet explorer's protected mode is on. Thanks, Avadhut Phisake.
