My 2nd grade teacher told me. I do think this is a bit much, but I take heart in the fact that this is the worst you can find in the Christian world. At least he didn't set fire to the kids for bringing shame to their families.

Ha! "I told the children that Father Christmas was an invention that had nothing to do with the Christian Christmas story," Should we now tell the priest that the Christian Christmas story itself was made up so they could just steel another pagan holiday? Might as well ruin it for him too.

So, it's your belief that children should be set on fire ? There are plenty of Muslims here whose beliefs I respect. They tend to speak out against terrorists, not in support of them.

I think it's up to parents to decide if their kids believe in Santa and for how long. But, again, at least the kids lived.

Not his job to piss on the childen's parade, they will learn in time that it is only a feel good story or the parents will tell them about Santa when they feel it's time. The prick must be pretty insecure that his Jesus myth can hold sway. Or that Jesus himself (and most of the bible) is just the Xth rewrite of the same old stories invented by the ancient Egyptians? If you start to pull one string, more than just Santa's clothes will fall off...
