He said this would not inconvenience passengers travelling without cash. "I don't think there is anybody in history that has got on board a Ryanair aircraft with less than a pound." So either the CEO's an idiot, he intends to issue pound coinage to all passengers on boarding the plane, or ryanair's routing is such that it's impossible for someone from outside the UK to take a ryanair flight as part of a longer trip. :wtf:

Well, I am sure they'll rethink this policy after a few passengers without pound coins with them decide to go on the seat :~

In the latest round of cost cutting ventures an Irrish Irish carrier is looking to charge for going to the backroombathroom. Nice, at some point they're going to run out of 'perks' they can charge for. Maybe seats will be next. ;P http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090227/od_uk_nm/oukoe_uk_ryanair_toilet[^] Edit: Damn stupid spelling mistakes.

I can see it now... cloud in my mind... of passenger handing warm bottle of full beer bottle to stewardess.

Will it cost double to join the mile high club?

Where there's a bottle there is a way. I wonder if they realize this will probably negatively affect their soda and coffee sales.
