Carson and Zep may disagree, but the market[^] not so much.

Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. God doesn't believe in atheists, therefore they don't exist.

Investment Analysts are known for their ability of inaccuracy. They are no better today than they were this time last year, or this time ten years ago, in assessing the value of a company in terms of its stock price and in terms of the overall state of the economy. The only thing that was guaranteed as far as investment analysts were concerned is the big fat bonuses they get, or rather, got. I'm sure that Jo Average could do almost a good job by using a Crystal Ball.

      Magic is making it worse

I don't see magic here. He is following some of Bush's *failed* policies, such as bailing out some and not another, blindly shooting sparks hoping it ignites fire. Then you got the democrats who were waiting to clinch to power, as soon as they took off, started working on what they see as their priorities (massive spending). If the republican were in charge, I'm sure they would have thrown their own *magic* My point is, while every one contributed to the problem (there were plenty failed policies on both sides), I am not sure if any one have a clue how to get out of this mess. [edit]When economy bottoms out, how will we know?[^] Some economists think it will be 2010 before we start seeing some light[/edit]

He wasn't talking about abracadabra magic. This was just an example of Mike's dog-whistle racism.

no it isn't, it is my somewhat polite way of showing my distain for an ignorant fool that shoveled shit that others swallowed and doing so by quoting a liberal left leaning rag. if I were being racist I would be a bit more obvious and a helluva lot more direct.

excuse me. Didn't we notice ballooned ear-mark, including the infamous bridge-to-no-where during the last republican administration and congress?

but the ignorant fool ran on a platform that promised an end to earmarks - just one more lie "you" swallowed.
