Even Chris Mathews isn't happy about the way the administration handled the bonuses scandal. According to him, late last night the White House released documents show that both Obama and Geithner knew about the bonuses before they were paid out, and had both the opportunity and the power to stop them from going through. Larry Summers, on Sunday, was also saying that this was a country of laws and that by law these people were entitled to what they had been promised. Later that day, of course, a new memo had been circulated and the white house reps were all "shocked, simply shocked" to discover that these bonuses were being paid. By Monday, the scandal had blown up in every-one's face and Obama got on television and publicly ordered Geithner to get the money back that these guys had been paid without the Government not having a clue about it. I wonder how many more times he can be caught with his pants down before I can order up a bunch of "Don't Blame Me - I voted for McCain" bumper stickers. ;)

Do you think Obama will return the $100,000+ 'bonus' that AIG gave him last year? :-D

I'm pretty sure I would not like to live in a world in which I would never be offended. I am absolutely certain I don't want to live in a world in which you would never be offended. Dave

Oh sure, but those are being sold to Republicans. There's a much bigger potential market among Democrats -- once the ship starts to sink.
