Well, the content is a news item about a Muslim honour killing. So "Damn those Muslims!" would be a feeble, but relevant, 'rant'. "Damn those 'conservatives'!" sort of implies that you are more concerned about the use of "conservative" than the murder of the girl. Lefties hijack "liberal". Muslims hijack "conservative". Never mind, plenty of adjectives left.
