Displaying image on form

I've been given the job to update a legacy VB app to include image display on a form. I'm trying to find out if VB 2005 has built-in support for displaying these image types: jpg, gif, bmp, and png. Or do I need to get a third-party image library? Thanks!

Look into the PictureBox control. The Image property should be fairly self-descriptive, and Image.FromFile will give you the image itself. However, this will lock the file - if you don't want this effect, use Image.FromStream instead
