I'm thrilled, the Fox network is not carrying the 100 day blowhard speech but continuing with their normally scheduled programming. Ironically the show on Fox at that time is, "Lie to me".
Why do you hate America? We are at war, umm.... two wars. You should be supportive of our President. Sound familiar? Look, I am not supportive of his economic policy and some other ones, but at least he is doing exactly what promised when he was running for the office. Unlike a guy who said he will not do "nations building" and yet here we are. By the way, I am not a leftist or rightist, I am a registered Independent.

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

Don't make the mistake of assuming that telling us what you told the Registrar of Voters explains your political viewpoint. As I recall, that was one of the reasons specter changed parties. He said that many Republicans became Democrats in his state (one reason for his change) this about the time Limbaugh was futzing with the Dem. primaries.

wasn't intended to, it was intended to create chaos and did so quite nicely. had the added benefit of pissing off commited Democrats. all in all, a worthwhile endeavor.

Yeah, but in Specter's case he was implying that many Replublicans changed because they were disenchanted with McCain's (and the Party's) move to the right. Limbaugh's deal was an attempt to keep Obama from being nominated, feeling that Clinton would be the weaker candidate.
