I'ts a good to know, and probably may be more problematic in the future. homeowners needs a; * fire emergency (escape plan) * home invasion plan (fending off intruder) * medical emergency plan (including if 911 falls on thier face)

Well, the girl's an idiot. And when you listen to the tape, it is apparent that her in-your-face self-pride took precedence over her concern for her father. Nevertheless, the officer was badly in the wrong. --- A neighbor has told me some mild horror-story about when he called the local 911 when his vehicles were being broken into (that is, it happened more than once, it was the same criminal and he was watching it all on a video camera). The criminal was a black man; the 911 dispatcher was a black woman ... and she basically refused to dispatch the cops. That's second-hand hear-say to you; take it for what it's worth.
